Dr. Kuo-Hsin Yang has been awarded" the Young IGS Member Achievement Award" from International Geosynthetics Society for his contributions to research in the area of GRS structures and his education and dedication through service and participation to the IGS.

Dr. Yang was invited to accept the award in the IGS Award Ceremony in the 10th International Conference on Geosynthetics, Berlin Germany.
