About Taiwan Tech

National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech), established in 1974 as the very first technical university in Taiwan, is located at Taipei city, the capital city of Taiwan, just 3 km south to Taipei City Government and Taipei 101. Taiwan Tech was ranked 48th in the 2016 QS Asia University Rankings.

 

Training Course Information

In 2015, reliability management for Taipei Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system operation achieves best performance. The system-wide operational reliability indicator of MKBF (mean car-kilometers between service-delay failure of more than 5 minutes) reached 4,718,416 car kilometers. As known, MRT system is high integration of construction, maintenance, and operation. The course aims to provide comprehensive training and knowledge in MRT system offered in English by staffs from:

1.          Department of Civil and Construction Engineering

2.          Department of Mechanical Engineering

3.          Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation

4.          Sinotech Engineering Consultants, Ltd.

5.          CECI Engineering Consultants, Inc.

  • Commencement date: 26th February 2018
  • Participant: Employees in Government sectors, universities or industries are welcome
  • Class size: 35 people
  • Course duration: 9 weeks
  • Tuition fee: $USD700 (Paid by NTD $21,500)
  • Estimated daily living cost: USD $20~30/day
