Graduate Thesis and Professional Field Review Regulations

::: 2024-12-04 17:51:02

In accordance with NTUST's "Master's and Doctoral Degree Thesis Defense Examination Regulations" and "Rules and Precautions for Writing and Formatting Theses," starting from the 112th academic year, all incoming students are required to submit their thesis title and research objectives to the department for review to ensure alignment with the department's professional field. This submission must be completed either in the semester prior to the degree examination or, at the latest, by the course add/drop deadline of the semester in which the degree examination is scheduled. Failure to meet this deadline will disqualify students from applying for the degree examination.

For students planning to take the oral defense in the 113-2 semester, please log your thesis title and research objectives in the Student Information System by December 20, 113. No hard copies are required. If you are unable to complete the registration by this date, you may do so between December 21, 113 and March 3, 114. Please note that submitting during this period may delay the review process and affect your oral defense schedule. To avoid any delays, it is strongly recommended to complete the submission by December 20, 113.

Note: Students with IDs starting with M111 or D111 are exempt from this regulation.
