Structural Mechanics Laboratory

The facilities of the Structural Mechanics Laboratory, located at Taoyuan, include one 5200-ton testing machine and other related equipments. The testing machine can be used to perform the experiments, researches, and developments of structural units for seismic isolation. The function of the Lab is not only to provide the professors and students of the Department to carry out the academic research as well as practice teaching, but also to issue the certificates of examination reports. The laboratory will be accredited by the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF) for providing the worldwide recognized testing reports.
