Updated Procedures for Embargoing Printed Theses and Dissertations (Effective Spring Semester 2026)
::: 2026-02-12 16:08:46In accordance with the Ministry of Education’s newly established thesis embargo mechanism, the University’s revised procedures will take effect in Spring Semester 2026.
Students who wish to apply for an embargo on their printed thesis/dissertation must, before the degree examination, log in to the Online Application System for Embargo of Printed Theses/Dissertations, and print two original copies of the application form (Appendix 3). The application form, together with the relevant certification documents (Appendix 4), must be submitted at the thesis defense for review and confirmation by all examination committee members.
During the school-leaving process, submit the department-approved application form and certification document together with the finalized printed thesis/dissertation—one set to the department office and the other to the NTUST Library.
