Student Paper Competition for ISLES2017 by August 31, 2017

2017 International Symposium on Life-Cycle Engineering and Sustainability of Infrastructure (ISLES2017)

Student Paper Competition

During the 2017 International Symposium on Life-Cycle Engineering and Sustainability of Infrastructure (ISLES2017) planned to be held at the Taiwan Tech in Taipei, Taiwan on November 9-11 2017, graduate students in the Asian countries are encouraged to submit sole-authored papers (one for each student) certified and endorsed by their respective advisers.

As many as 25 graduate student papers (15 from International: students studying outside Taiwan, and 10 from domestic: students studying in Taiwan) will be selected and invited by the Symposium Chair for poster presentation and publication in the proceedings of the Symposium. Each of the authors of the winning papers will receive awards as follows:

Scholarship of US $600 for international authors and US $200 for domestic authors, plus free registration at the Symposium.

Each paper must be submitted online to Prof. Kuo Wei Liao kliao@mail.ntust.edu.tw. The paper must be prepared in the format of 12 Times Roman and strictly limited in length to two pages including figures, tables and equations.

The deadline for paper submission is 31 August 2017. The winners will be announced by 15 September 2017, and the final papers (limited to 5 pages) must be submitted by 15 October 2017 for publication in the proceedings of the Symposium. Instructions for preparing the final winning papers will be provided with the announcement.
